Analysing the Relationship between Mechanical Properties and Inner Structure of LLDPE Virgin Film for Optimizing Extrusion Condition

In this study, we investigated the mechanical properties and inner structure of films linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) It was re-pelletized by a twin-screw extruder equipped with without molten-resin reservoir (MRR) different extrusion conditions. The thin sample (thickness: 0.1 mm) were prepared compression moulding machine then their analysed tensile test XRD, Imaging FT-IR, AFM RAMAN analyses. From results, pellet improved compared to film made from virgin LLDPE pellets. Besides, analysis some inner-structural changes confirmed in pellets Raman analyses they depend on re-pelletizing process. Our results suggest that treatment affected films, resulting improving properties.
